Sinopsis

Pero cuando Julian es convocado para ser el amante de Grace Alexander durante un mes, descubre en ella a la mujer capaz de hacer realidad un sueño oculto: un amor que llene el vacío de su corazón y, quizá, sea capaz de poner fin a la maldición.
Mi Opinión
Harto de ensueño era Julian de Macedonia, personaje principal en esta obra llena de dioses, semidioses y mortales. Esta es una historia de amor bastante explícita que haría sonrojarse hasta a una monja. Si obviamos aquellas partes en donde se describen casi perfectamente las relaciones sexuales diría que me ha gustado el libro, puesto que bajo todo ese contenido»sexual» de la trama hay una bella historia de amor de dos personas que habían sido inmensamente infelices con la vida que llevaban antes de conocerse, pero que al hacerlo se dan cuenta que son el uno para el otro y que no quieren separarse nunca mas, aunque les haya costado darse cuenta, su relación se acopla de una manera instantánea. Julian protege a Grace de un modo que te hace pensar que quieres uno de regalo de navidad o algo así, la verdad es que es muy tierno cuando protege a Grace.
Los personajes son muy irónicos y eso hace que te saquen mas de una sonrisa de vez en cuando.
Eso si hay algunas partes del libro en donde aparecen algunos dioses, Afrodita, Atenea, Eros (cupido), etc. que no me resultaron muy convincentes ya que parecía que aquellos diálogos estuvieran superpuestos a la narración original, me costó mucho creerme las partes en donde hablaban los dioses y eso fue un poco incomodo, pues les restó continuidad al libro. Igual es de una lectura rápida, yo lo termine en una tarde, debido a que no hay palabras rebuscadas o de difícil entendimiento, Sherrilyn posee una escritura fresca y dinámica que hace que no puedas para de leer hasta haber terminado. El otro aspecto negativo, por decirlo de algún modo, es el final que no me ha gustado para nada, no se los voy a contar, pero debo decirles que es un poco flojo para una historia tan intensa.
Aun así es un libro recomendable para quien quiera pasar una tarde divertida con un libro, y estoy mas que segura que después de terminar el primer grupo de libros pendientes, me haré con el primer libro de la saga de los Cazadores Oscuros, puesto que como dije antes este libro no pertenece a la saga sino que es considerado como una presecuela, porque Julian no es un cazador oscuro ya que no le sirve o no trabaja para Artemisa.
